Too many perfectly fine clothes and fabric are being wasted. People don't seem to care or perhaps they have no clue what to do when their clothes get broken.

What If ..

The geo-political situation worsened and supply chains have been significantly impacted. Borders are shutting down and social media accounts are locked for national security reasons. No more clothes are coming in and people need to make do with what they have. What if local governments were free to introduce fines if clothes that can be reused are thrown away?

Emerging frictions

Big brand and fast fashion clothes shops are closing down. This impacts the shopping streets as nobody is around anymore for shopping. But this was happening also before with all the online shopping. Now that's gone too. Many people who used to work in the shops and also online delivery companies are losing their jobs. Some older ladies are happy though - their knitting and needle skills are finally appreciated by their grandkids who are now the most fashionable in town!
